    DETAILS:
    In Scrapheap Challenge contestants build a working machine that could do a specific task, using materials available in a scrapheap. The competition features teams for few hours to build vehicles, or machines to complete a specific task. A competition between two 4-person teams, each consisting of three regular members (with one designated the captain), plus an expert in the field related to the particular challenge. The judge for each episode is typically a specialist in (non-scrap) versions of the machine being constructed. The challenges are many and varied, usually involving teams constructing a machine to achieve a particular objective. The final showdown usually consisted of either head-to-head races or individually run timed events. Examples of challenges included making a working machine as far as possible.

  • Picking up a piece registers it as an active piece of the team
  • One or both of the hands can be used to place the active piece.
  • You may hold your base with one hand.
  • Piece on your structure must remain in contact with the structure at all time but you may use the active piece to move one or more pieces on your structure without removing any piece.

  • At any time, if a piece falls off a structure and touches the table the owner of that structure sets the piece aside and keeps it as one of their fallen piece.

    BOT TRACK(LINE FOLLOWER)

    DETAILS:
    In this contest, the team of contestant’s design and build small autonomous robot which follows either black line in white area or white line in black area. Robot must be able to detect particular line and keep following it.
    Event details:
    There will be an Arena. On which a black circuit is drawn. The circuit will be shown on the spot, and participants have to code in given time only. Bot taken lesser time wins. In this there will be 3 rounds, after each round half of the participant will be eliminated.

    RULES:

  • Robots per Event: One
  • Robot Weight Range: max 2kg(except batteries)
  • Robot Dimensions: 12*12 sq. inches
  • The robot to complete the course in the shortest period of time while accurately tracking the course line from start to finish wins.

  • The circuit for each round will be shown 45 mins prior to the starting time of event.
  • Course Time: time is measured from the time the robot crosses the starting line until the time it crosses the finish line.
  • A robot is deemed to have crossed the line when the forward most wheel, track, or leg of the robot contacts or crosses over the line.
  • Once a robot has crossed the starting line it must remain fully autonomous, or it will be disqualified.
  • Any robot that loses the line course must reacquire the line at the point where it was lost, or at any earlier (e.g. already traversed) point.
  • Any robot that loses the line course and fails to reacquire it will be allowed a single reattempt. The robot must start the course again from the beginning, and if it loses the line course on its second attempt it will be disqualified.

    Event Title: Suite Greed game
    Event Details: There will be an Arena. Each match will be played between two teams. Each teams will have two soccer playing bots. Team scoring more goals in given time wins.

    RULES:

  • The maximum weight of each bot is 4 kg .
  • The robot should fit inside a box of 12*12 sq. inches.
  • The robot should be self-powered with supply not exceeding 12V(on board power supply)
  • 2 bots are placed at specified locations on the arena
  • No. of rounds will be decided on the basis of team participating & and each round will be knockout.
  • Each match will be of 10 Minutes of each half & and the final will be of 15 mins of each half. The team scoring more goals in given time wins.
  • In case of tie, 5 penalty shoots will be given.
  • Fouls will also be accounted to choose the winner.
  • Damaging the opponent bot intentionally leads to foul.
  • Only one participant should control the robot no player can be exchanged in the match.
  • Team can have maximum 6 members.
  • The bot that avoids the obstacles and reaches the destination within the minimum period of time will be declared as the winner.
  • Every hand intervention will get you a penalty of 20 seconds.

  • No remote controls should be used.

    RULES:

  • Participants can perform on any Indian or Western song.
  • Time Limit: 8-10 minutes (including 2 minutes setup and clearance time)Groups will be screened once.
  • The fusion of songs may or may not be minimum four songs.
  • There should be minimum of 5 and maximum of 20 members in the group.
  • During the performance there must be minimum of 5 and maximum of 10 members present on the stage.
  • In case of any mistake made by the participant, they are not allowed to restart.

  • Themes

    1. Rock and Roll: dive straight into the 70’s and 80’s rock culture that inspired a generation of youth.
    2. Indo-Western theme: Here you can go all out with your dressing Sarees, dresses, lehengas, sherwanis, kurta. I know sounds really typical but then wat better than bright colors and glitter on the stage.
    3. Evolution : From cavemen to todays modern stylish suits. You will just need some research and creativity to pull this theme off.
  • Rules:

  • Minimun10 and maximum 14 participants.
  • Not more than 10 models can be at stage at any moment of time
  • Background music should be provided by the team itself.
  • Minimum timing 8-12 minutes .
  • Stage must be clear with in 1 minute after the performance.
  • Points will be deducted for exceeding the time limit.
  • Emphasis will be given to clothing, walking, originality, attitude and representation of the theme.
  • No props and costumes will be provided by us, teams have to bring their own costumes and props.
  • Use of materials like candles, matches , cigarettes, alcohol and any other hazardous material on stage is prohibited. Teams are required to contact coordinators before using such materials.
  • Two copies of soundtrack should be submitted in advance of standard audio format wav or mp3 of sound quality 192kbps or above to coordinators in pen drives only.
  • Vulgarity of any kind would lead to disqualification of team from the event. It is strongly advised to consult the coordinators then performing it directly on stage.
  • The decision of the judges and the coordinating committee will be final and binding.
  • A green room would be provided for changing purpose.
